Trouble Shooting

The entire reason we created TŌNEM was to relieve stresses, not add to them! If your device is not working properly here are some things that might help.

Not Powering On or Charging?

Make sure you are using the charging cable that came included with the device. A standard USB-A to USB-C cable will also work fine.

Certain other types of cables like iPhone fast charging cables or USB-C to USB-C cables don't always function properly with TŌNEM.

The red light is your signal that everything is working.

When plugged in with a compatible cable, a small red indicator light will come on near the charging port. If no red light comes on, that likely means the cable being used isn't compatible.

The red light will stay on while charging and turn off once your device is fully charged.

Tone Card Reset

Occasionally, the tone card can get knocked slightly loose during shipping or everyday use. If that happens, you may notice your audio not playing quite right. Resetting the card is a quick fix that almost always takes care of it.

To remove it, gently press the card inward using the tip of a flathead screwdriver or any small firm object. The card will pop out on its own.

Then just slide it back in and push the tone card gently inward until you feel it click. That click means it's locked in place.
